Core Sand Mixer SVM Series

SVM type core sand mixing:

G.S offers batch type core mixer that disperses  binder homogenously in the core sand. It consists of a vertical drum where a rotor forces the sand particles to mix with the binder for a defined period of time. After completion of mixing, it can be completely discharged with minimal sand remains. Pneumatically actuated doors automates the feeding of sand to core shooter hoper and further the mixer door can be completely opened from the hinge and this design eases cleaning of the sand from the mixer.

Technical Specification:

The bending strength of the mixed sand depends on the mixing time and the binder used. Our design enables minimal wastage of the binder and high binder performance.
